Party 8.  All About Birding

Enjoy a spring day on Fenwood Ranch near Anderson and learn to identify birds you may see in your backyard. This event is intended for all ages who want to learn the basics of birding - types of beaks, basic bird parts and common terms. Experienced birders will enjoy the opportunity to observe in an area that is normally closed to the public. Wintu Audubon president and experienced birder Bill Oliver will help identify the many birds and waterfowl along the Sacramento River and in the oak woodlands. A picnic lunch is included. Fenwood Ranch is private property.  Shasta Land Trust has obtained special permission to hold these events.
