Party 11.  Energy Sipping Homes Tour

Whether you are planning increased energy efficiency or only interested in learning more, this is the party for you. Visit two homes with different approaches to energy efficiency. The Bush home uses a geodesic dome design and a cooling system based on capturing the cool air eight feet below ground. The Wilkinson-O'Mara home captures solar energy in three different ways and is tied to the grid to take advantage of state and federal incentives. After the tour, relax in the garden with a spring time lunch.
