Take an insider's tour of Cow Creek Ranch in Whitmore, site of Shasta Land Trust's newest conservation easement, with executive director Ben Miles and former director Kathleen Gilman. Ben will share some of his favorite sites on this 4-wheel-drive tour. You'll see oak savannah, narrow canyons, chaparral and ponderosa pine forests.  Break for a picnic lunch at the stunning overlook of south Cow Creek Valley, and learn how the Trust's conservation easement preserved this working ranch forever.  Cow Creek Ranch is private property.  Shasta Land Trust has obtained special permission to hold this event.
