Join Gary Hendrix of the Phillips Bros. Mill in Oak Run for a three-mile walking tour of the 1,000-acre forest that sustains the Phillips Mill and provides a multitude of benefits to our region. Learn about carbon sequestration, sustainable forestry practices and how the Pacific Forest Trust monitors its conservation easement. Tour forestland to see the tree plantation and the results of biomass thinning. Spend time in the old growth watershed and enjoy the wildflowers with mid-morning snacks.
