Conserving the beauty, character and diversity of significant lands in far northern California

Shasta Land Trust's 10th Birthday celebration
Shasta Land Trust recently celebrated our tenth birthday, at Fenwood Ranch along the Sacramento River.  Shasta Land Trust and the Rickert Family, owners and operators of Fenwood Ranch, hosted the event which was complete with live music, barbeque, nature walks, and wagon rides.   Wild Bill and the Mud Whompers provided the music, the Rickert Family provided Prather Ranch beef for the hamburgers, and Shasta Land Trust members provided the critical planning, organization, and volunteer hours to make the day a success!

Thanks to all who helped!
The generous time and energy of our volunteers made this day happen.  We appreciate all contributions of time, energy, and equipment.  Thanks also to all who attended the event.  Without your support, Shasta Land Trust would not be able to continue on its mission to save land in the Northstate.  In the photo at right, members of the volunteer committee which planned and staffed the event receive the heartfelt thanks of Kathleen Gilman (SLT Executive Director), while the band takes a short break.

Ten Years of Conservation
The event at Fenwood Ranch celebrated the accomplishments in the ten years since the creation of Shasta Land Trust.  We look forward to another ten years of Conservation in this region, and hope that you will continue supporting Shasta Land Trust so that we can build on our successes in the future.  We anticipate that our next ten years will be filled with many more exciting conservation
accomplishments.
