Wildflower Hike and Picnic at Dye Creek Preserve

Join us for this hike along the course of Dye Creek itself, which cuts through a pristine setting of volcanic buttes, hills and extensive blue oak woodlands, before flowing into the Sacramento River. Expect spectacular views and wildflowers in bloom, occasional wildlife sightings, such as deer, golden eagles and woodpeckers. Located in the foothills below Lassen Peak, this 37,000 acre preserve has been protected by the Nature Conservancy since 1988. Guests will be served a delicious lunch on the preserve.

Hosted by Gregg Werner, Marilyn and Terry Thomas.
