You wont want to miss Fermenting 101: Kombucha and Kimchi. Kombucha is a fizzy tea beverage that has been around for centuries but only recently has become one of the latest health trends. This workshop will be interactive with several flavors of kombucha to taste. As an added bonus Benita Moore will also be teaching guest how to make one of the world's healthiest foods, Kimchi. Loaded with vitamins A, B and C, Kimchi is spicy pickled cabbage. It can be used in everything from soups to pancakes, mixed with scrambled eggs, and can also make a great pizza and burger topping. After the workshop participants will be gifted a starter kit and starter culture to begin making their own Kombucha and Kimchi at home. Expect healthy snacks to be served.
