Travel in Time to Early Shasta County

The historic Camden House was built at the beginning of the California Gold Rush. Spend the day with docent Judy Bush and park staff on a special tour of the Camden House.  Your group will also see the sights and hear about the Tower House Hotel, sawmill and covered bridge that give a glimpse into life in early Shasta County history. Take a journey back to 1850 as you learn stories of friendship, love and wealth that span three generations. The day will include a walk to visit grave sites and the El Dorado Mine. Lunch will be served alongside Clear Creek, where Charles Camden mined for gold.
