Since we at Shasta Land Trust don't always have the opportunity to bring our members and supporters out into the field to learn firsthand about the amazing efforts of talented community partners, we thought we'd bring the education and knowledge to you.

In 2022 we are so excited to bring back our Conservation Lunch Series. Throughout this year’s series of webinars, you’ll have the chance to hear from community experts and local conservation leaders about the great work they are doing in and around Shasta County. Bring your lunch and join us next Wednesday, February 6th at 11:30am, at the Shasta Land Trust office, to hear about the process behind reconnecting and restoring side channels along the Sacramento River to improve juvenile salmon habitat. This is a chance to learn about the history behind the projects, how they were funded, the challenges that were faced, and accomplishments that led to success.
