Meet Our Summer Intern!

We're excited to welcome Tanner Durben to the Shasta Land Trust team for the next five weeks! As a paid intern through the Shasta College Career Quest program, Tanner will gain hands-on experience in land conservation while earning college credit and exploring careers in the environmental field.

Since becoming a resident of Redding since age four, Tanner will be a senior at University Preparatory School this fall. Through nearly eight years in Scouts, he has developed leadership, teamwork, outdoor skills, and a strong appreciation for caring for natural resources.

During his internship, Tanner will learn about Shasta Land Trust's conservation and stewardship work while gaining valuable professional experience. Outside of school and work, he enjoys hiking, camping, and exploring the outdoors with family and friends.
